The band rounded off the year with their annual Christmas concert at Crofton Working Mens’ Club. Playing to a packed house, the band enjoyed being able spread the Christmas spirit to the local community with a selection of Christmas classics, heart warming carols and plenty for the audience to sing-a-long to.
As always, on Christmas Day the band could be heard throughout the village of Crofton playing carols, raising money for Wakefield Hospice. Members of the band gave up their Christmas morning and managed to raise a total of £418.00 which will go towards Wakefield Hospice being able to offer care for cancer patients, those with life limiting illnesses and those who require the support of specialist teams. Thank you to all that came out to listen to the band and offer a donation to this worthwhile cause.
